Physiotherapy Services

Physiotherapists are experts in human movement and assessment and management of musculoskeletal pain. Physiotherapy is based on both scientific research and principles and is endorsed by the medical profession.

At Montrose Physiotherapy, we have a special interest in:
Back and neck pain
Sporting and occupational injuries
Muscle and joint injuries
Headaches
Rehabilitation after surgery
Clinical Pilates in Individual sessions
Women's health problems (pre and post-natal)

On your first physiotherapy visit, a thorough assessment is conducted. This allows the physiotherapist to determine the most efficient and appropriate treatment program for you. This is tailored specifically to your goals and needs.

Treatment of the injury may include any of the following:
Joint mobilisation and manipulation techniques
Soft tissue therapy
Stretching and strengthening exercises
The use of electromedical equipment
Dry needling techniques
Pilates exercises
Muscle re-training
Taping techniques
Prescription of braces, splints and assistive devices

It is the policy of our practice for all therapists to continually upgrade and maintain their knowledge, treatment techniques and skills for the benefit of all patients. This permits us to provide the highest quality care possible and to achieve the best outcomes and satisfaction for all patients.

As evidence of our dedication to this, we are proud to have introduced Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling to our clinic.
